Absolute Ocean Front Coastal Home

From the moment people walk in our front door they are captivated by the expansive view and the proximity of our property to the ocean. Invited through the living areas and onto the spacious deck featuring an outdoor lounge area, a sprawling teak dining table and funky bean bags you will find yourself spending the majority of your holiday in this space enjoying the company of your family and friends in a true tropical holiday setting.

When we are enjoying our time in the house we always have all four glass sliding doors completely open so that the outdoor deck flows seamlessly into the house and the spaces becomes one huge open plan seaside living area. Listen to the sea wash up on the beach below you and if you want to dig your toes into the sand you can easily access the beach by a rear pathway from our house.

At the time of renovating the house we had been living in the adjoining beach shack for 10+ years and so knew exactly what needed doing to create a relaxed yet stylish modern beach house. Paying homage to the original era of the house we have styled mid century modern coastal inspired spaces for you to enjoy.

Please note our house does not have air-conditioning as we made the conscious decision to not add it to the house when we renovated. We designed the house so that it is energy efficient through cross-ventilating rooms using the sea breeze and trade South-Easterly winds. We also invested heavily in premium insulation and the award winning Haiku fans that feature seven speed settings including a sleep and whoosh mode to ensure comfort both day and night. We realise this may not be for everyone, but for us it has proved to be one of the best decisions we made when renovating as we enjoy the open plan layout of the house much more by always having the huge sliding doors open to the oceans cooling breeze.
