Stroll along the beachfront on Williams Esplanade and you will find eateries and restaurants, from casual fish and chips to 5-star cuisine, covering Australian, European, Continental, Greek, Indian, Thai, Chinese and Asian food. If you prefer the rustic DIY, bring your own food and use the public BBQ doted along the beachfront. Enjoy your dinner while watching the sun go down.

For the adventurous, there is a tourist booking office for your trip to the famous Great Barrier Reef, rainforest tours, Skyrail to Kuranda, Crocodile adventure, skydiving, bungy jumping and many more. A couple of car hire companies are located in Palm Cove and it’s a great idea to get around and explore the area such as driving along the scenic coast road to Port Douglas (45 minutes), visit Jaques Coffee Plantation in Mareeba (45 minutes), go shopping in Cairns (25 minutes), Cairns Zoo (5 minutes), 18-hole golf course (10 minutes), Coles Supermarket (5 minutes).

Alternatively, there is a public bus every 30 minutes to take you to the nearest Coles Supermarket enroute to Cairns city centre. There is also a shuttle service between Palm Cove and Port Douglas.
