Golden Sands Retreat is a beautiful beachfront property, recently rebuilt, and the attention to details, views and features is truly outstanding. Pricing per night covers up to 6 guests + $500 damage deposit. Extra guests $50 p/night. Total guests not to exceed 12 - We do have units available on the property for guests over 12, or for separate bookings. The units are $180 p/night for 2 guests. The main house has 4 x Air-conditioned bedrooms, 1 king bed, 2 queen beds (sleeps 6 in total), 2 double/single bunks (sleeps 6), 2 double sofa beds (pillows and linen not supplied for the sofa beds), 2.5 bathrooms, 2 kitchens. Linen, bath towels, tea, coffee, provided. Free WiFi. A plunge pool (for main house guests only), 2 x Hooded BBQ’s, Eight ball pool table, Classic Arcade Machine with all the old games (60 in total), ping pong table, family games, peace & tranquility. Highchair & porta cot available (linen not supplied). Boat ramp at Mandorah Jetty if you'd like to bring your boat & wet a line. Sorry no parties allowed or no more people onsite than agreed in the rental agreement. Special functions can be allowed pending management approval. Spacious open living areas bringing the outside in, and inside out, capture the wonder of the location including the sea, beaches, trees, and birdlife. Well behaved dogs are welcome but not inside the house. Fully fenced block. Wagait Beach is approximately 1.5hr drive from Darwin city or catch the SeaLink Ferry from Cullen Bay for the 15 minute cruise to Mandorah Jetty. Contact us to arrange transport to and from the jetty. The Cox Country Club Bar and Restaurant is open for dinner Thu-Sun & lunch Sat-Sun. Meet friendly locals over a cold beverage and enjoy great Aussie pub meals. Enjoy the music (regular live bands also) over a free game of darts or eight ball pool, whilst your kids play on the playground. Free transport to and from the club is available. Wagait Beach Supermarket is a licensed supermarket and fuel outlet. The supermarket is open 7 days a week (closed on Christmas Day) and offers a wide range of groceries, Bottlemart, fuel, bait, ice, fishing tackle, gas, takeaway food, ferry tickets and more.
