Kickenbach is one of the original cottages in the village - fully renovated by the current owners. This classic, modernised beach house is located within an easy 100 metre stroll to the middle beach at Hyams, as well as the Hyams Beach Cafe. Kickenbach offers the best of indoor/outdoor living. Relax inside the large open plan living spaces or entertain on the enclosed full length, east facing verandah. Please note also that Kickenbach has no off street parking due to its location.

** Booking for peak season 2022/23 (16 Dec 2022 to 24 Jan 2023) **
The changeover day for this property for the 2022/23 peak season is Thursday. When booking between mid-December and Australia Day, please select 7 night blocks that start and end on the changeover day. Otherwise the calendar may indicate that dates are not available. If in doubt, please contact The Holidays Collection and we will be happy to assist. Peak season bookings are often most easily made directly with us.
** Where will I be? **
Kickenbach is located in the centre of Hyams Beach village, in a quiet street. It is literally a 100m walk to the middle beach in Hyams Beach.
** Why choose Kickenbach? **
This is a lovely, spacious beach house with yesteryear charm and modern style. The 2019 renovation makes the living easy in this fabulous home. The indoor/outdoor lifestyle makes this property a treat any time of the year.
** How is the property laid out? **
The living space in the house is open plan with three bedrooms off of a central hallway. There are two bathrooms, one of which is an en-suite, and a European style laundry. The open plan kitchen, dining and lounge open up to the large deck that runs the full length of the house, facing east towards Hyams Beach. You get some bay view as well! With floorboards throughout, modern appliances and the latest in entertainment technology, Kickenenbach is the best of old and new, in a great location.
** WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it? **
This property offers complimentary WiFi, however, connectivity is not guaranteed but the owner or the managing agent as internet can be very intermittent in Jervis Bay.
** What about outdoors? **
This house has a large deck area and also an open lawnback yard.
** Staying warm or keeping cool?! **
Kickenbach is equipped with ceiling fans and large gas heater / faux fireplace in the living room.
** What about sheets, towels and other supplies? **
Kickenbach is supplied with luxury linen, sheets and towels. Please bring your favourite beach towel!
** Parking for cars, boats etc? **
Please note that Kickenback does not have off street parking. On street parking ONLY is available.
** Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay? **
Kickenbach is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly options.
** What are the minimum stay rules? **
There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January.
** Are there any special Peak Season rules? **
Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
** Who will I be dealing with during my stay? **
This property is professionally managed by a dedicated holiday rental agency with offices in Gerringong, Hyams Beach and Bowral.
