Summary:
This modern and contemporary family home in Mooloolaba comfortably sleeps up to 10 people in 5 separate bedrooms (can sleep up to 12 by utilising the sofa bed in study area). With two separate lounge rooms, one upstairs & one downstairs, the home has plenty of space for everyone. The outdoor space features a stunning pool, BBQ, outdoor dining table, pool loungers and large outdoor umbrella. Pets are considered upon application.

The Space:
*Please note there is a house being built next door with construction scheduled to commence October 2022, and completion by April 2023 (subject to change)*

Ducted air conditioning is upstairs, plus a split system downstairs - which cools the whole house.

Large private family home with 5 bedrooms, plus a sparkling swimming pool. An easy 700-800 metre walk to Mooloolaba's pristine beaches and surf club. Take a stroll to Mooloolaba's shops, cafes, restaurants, bars plus other attractions- Mooloolaba is the ultimate holiday destination!

Fully equipped kitchen complete with an oven cooktop, microwave and all the necessary cooking utensils, and appliances. Guests are also welcome to utilise any food, condiments, sauces, drinks etc that are in the kitchen fridge.

Study area and separate upstairs lounge: Both lounges have 65 inch TVs, with Foxtel, Apple TV and Netflix and unlimited WIFI.

Not only does this beautiful home attract the beach going holiday maker, but we have also accommodated many golfing enthusiasts, as the home is centrally located to the numerous world class golf courses the Sunshine Coast has to offer. Also we have hosted groups, participating in various multi-sport and cycling events on the Coast.

We have provided an Eski (chilly bin for you Kiwis!) free to use. Please don’t take it home with you, or leave it at the beach though! You can buy cheap ice at the Shell petrol station/Coles Express, corner Brisbane Road & Foote Street, Mooloolaba.

WIFI details are on page 1 of the Welcome Book, found inside the property. Note there are two possible networks to choose from. The password is the same for both.

Lots of books to read, plus some board games to use on a wet day. Ottoman by upstairs TV, has some games & toys inside – including sets of playing cards. We try to make the Ottoman as safe as possible by not having inside, items like marbles, crayons etc that could be harmful to little toddlers. However is difficult to recheck the Ottoman after every guest. Please don’t put small items like marbles, crayons etc, or other potentially harmful objects into the Ottoman.

PETS
We are happy to consider pets on a case by case basis. Guests must tell us before booking if they are planning to bring a pet. We will need to know number of pets, plus dog breed. SORRY DOGS ARE NOT TO BE LEFT UNATTENDED TO BARK AT ANYTIME. We have had some very annoying problems, with our neighbours re unattended dogs barking. Often it has been a dog that owners have promised us 'never barks' - but this has not been true. We can't have this repeated. Please do not bring cats.
If guests do not cleanup any dog mess (including dog poo) before leaving, or we receive a complaint from our neighbours about dog(s) barking etc - we will make a claim on the bond. It is all about making sure any guests who bring a dog take responsibility.

We just need to have an honest discussion upfront, with any booking that will have a pet(s). Prepared to host guests with well behaved pets. We charge $20 per dog per night.

There are some water bowls for any canines. Plus a nice outdoor area for them to play in, with a small Council park also 20 metres away great for galloping around. Any dog mess, especially any dog poo in backyard must be cleaned up before you leave.

There are copies of the house rules for the property, in the supplied Welcome Book.

Laundry with washing machine. Clothes dryer, available for long staying guests.

Note the photographic art on the downstairs walls, is available to purchase.

Out of respect to our neighbours in this pretty quiet residential street, we do require that guests don't use the pool area, or the upstairs balcony after 9pm. Also no swearing and no loud offensive music, around the pool area. Again house is in a quiet family area, so please apply some common sense, and behave accordingly.

If you do move any of the outdoor or indoor furniture please return it, to where you found it.

Rubbish bins need to go out on Monday night, for Tuesday pickup by Council. Is appreciated if guests wheel bins out to grass verge (in front of letterbox is best spot), Monday night. Otherwise please don't be alarmed if our friendly neighbours bring out the bins on our behalf. Once emptied please do put a large bin liner into general rubbish bin to prevent smells.

Note we have sadly had recent problems with larger non family groups. Upsetting our neighbours. We have an NO PARTY policy. Our beautiful home is ideal for a chilled, fun and relaxing holiday.

Guest Access:
You will have access to the entire home including private pool for the duration of your stay.

An automatic door light, assists with safe visual entry at night.

Garage is not available to guests

The Neighborhood:
Situated on Queensland's beautiful Sunshine Coast just 800 metres to Mooloolaba and very handy to Alexandra Headland Beach.

Also only 50 metres to a great small park for the kids, plus 50 metres to the renowned 'Velo Project Cafe'.

Getting Around:
Nearest bus stop is near 'Velo Project Cafe' on Ocean View Road, about 70 metres from house. More frequent buses can be found at nearby Mooloolaba shops.

The Sunshine Coast, is generally not that well served by public transport.

Nearest train station is at Landsborough about a 20-30 minute drive towards Australia Zoo. Buses can take you to Landsborough train station. There are also buses that leave nearby (Brisbane Road) that go direct to Australia Zoo.

Brisbane Airport is about a 1 hour drive, if traffic is flowing well on the Bruce Highway!

Sunshine Coast Airport is about a 20 minute drive away. Currently is domestic flights only, apart from a service to Auckland, NZ. However Airport is being expanded and by 2021 there will be overseas flights to many destinations in Asia.

Other Things to Note:
The house has stairs and is split level. The outside entertaining, and swimming pool areas are also split level.

Upstairs balcony is slippery when wet, so please take caution.

Over the Winter months, please be very careful with your footing around the pool deck area. Heavy overnight dews can make the deck slippery.
There is a portacot & high chair available for use. The dimensions of the portacot are 76cm x 79cm x 105cm.
The garage is off limits to guests.

This property has a strict no party and no smoking policy. If you're after a larger gathering, this home is not suitable. Because this is a quiet residential area (and we are obligated to ensure Sunshine Coast Council noise restrictions are adhered to), any breaches to these policies will result in you and your guests being removed from the home without a refund.

Inside the house and the general property is strictly non smoking. As a suggestion for smokers, there is a Council park with a rubbish bin a very short stroll away.

If there are any smokers in your group, please ensure they deposit any cigarette butts in the rubbish bins provided. Lastly a reminder for them to also please be quiet, if they are smoking outside late at night.

No glassware to be taken to the pool area. There are plastic drink and wine glasses in the kitchen. Also please be careful not to damage the pool cleaner/Barracuda when swimming. If you want to remove Barracuda please contact us first, just to make sure it is done properly. Please also re attach Barracuda once you finish your swim. This helps ensure that the pool remains clean.

The Barracuda & pool filter is setup to automatically run 8 hours a day in summer. Being 8am-12pm & then 1pm-5pm.

Guests are welcome to utilise the pool scoop provided, to empty the swimming pool of leaves etc, that may enter the pool during their stay.

There are also pool nappies located above the washing machine in the laundry. Obviously prefer that these were used for toddlers in the pool.

Pool box contains pool toys, some boogie boards etc. Pool towels are also provided.

This home is has a strict no party policy.

In regard to wheelchair access, you may enter through the front door. There is also a downstairs toilet, and wash basin. However all bedrooms and formal bathrooms are accessed on the 2nd level by a set of stairs.

Our clean team is going to extra lengths as part of cleaning procedures to disinfect and wipe down all light switches, door handles and remote controls within the property. We wish the healthiest and happiest of stays to all our guests.

Interaction with Guests:
We will be available for anything you might need during your stay and are located nearby.

There is a comprehensive Welcome Book kept at the property, with lots of information on the home, plus the general Sunshine Coast area - including recommended activities, cafes, restaurants, excursions etc.

Guests must leave the house in a generally tidy condition, wash all dishes, and dispose of their rubbish into the outside rubbish bins - before checking out. Also any smokers to please dispose of all cigarette butts, into the rubbish.
