Tranquility, Hyams Beach - 4pm check out Sundays and Public Holidays, except Summer Season

Tranquility is a very stylish, well equipped and comfortable beach house. It has contemporary decor and artworks, lovely gardens, a quiet setting, and a rear entertainment area that adjoins natural bushland. A Hyams classic that will not disappoint!

- Strictly no parties at this property – please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken.

Where will I be?

Located at the top of Hyam Road and adjoining the National Park, Tranquility is situated in a quiet area of Hyams Beach with bush walks from the back door. It is also an easy walk to the beaches and cafe.

Why choose Tranquility?

A stylish home with comfortable furnishings, this cottage makes good use of space and natural light, and has everything you would need. It comes equipped with great applicances, an extensive library of CDs and books, and a BluRayplayer stocked with music and classic movies - everything to make you feel right at home.

How is the property laid out?

Tranquility is set across one elevated level with a front balcony and a large back deck. The open plan kitchen/dining area is spacious and modern with direct access to the back deck. The lounge adjoins and has a cosy wood combustion fire. The 3 queen bedroomsare light and spacious. The masterqueen room has an en-suite and French doors opening to the deck. The further two queen rooms share the family bathroom, one of which also has French doors openingto the deck.

WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?

This property does have Wi-Fi and a username and password will be provided for that in your pre-arrival email. In addition, Tranquility has Apple TV and Netflix.

You may use the house WiFi with no guarantee of reliability or compensation by us or the owner. If internet access is critical during your stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B!

What about outdoors?

Tranquility has a lovely rear entertainment deck. It is equipped with a four burner BBQ that is connected to the main gas supply of the house (no separate bottle), with additional built-in wok burner. The whole house is surrounded by landscaped garden beds filled with native plants.

Staying warm or keeping cool?

Tranquility has a combustion fireplace. You will need to BYO firewood and starters, please. There is also a gas heater and two electric heaters to keep you warm during the cooler months. For Summer, it has ceiling fans in all three bedrooms as well as in the living room.

What about sheets, towels and other supplies?

Linen and bath towels are provided at Tranquility. Though please remember to bring your own beach towels!

Parking for cars, boats etc?

There is a side driveway for two cars otherwise there is on-street parking.

Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?

Tranquility is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly options!

What are the minimum stay rules?

- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights

Are there any special Summer Season rules?

Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
