Bowerbird Cottage Apartment - like the bowerbird's nest - is adorned with blue objects which enhances the coastal-country feel.

Cosy for two yet comfortable for up to four people. SMOKE-FREE including INSIDE AND ALL OUTDOOR AREAS. The location and setting is perfect for experiencing the natural beauty of Hyams Beach and exploring Jervis Bay.

Situated at the top of Bayview Avenue, backing onto bushland Bowerbird Cottage Apartment is just a gentle, straight 200m stroll to the pristine soft, white sand of Hyams Beach - the jewel of Jervis Bay. The Bay is home to a pod of dolphins which can often be seen during the day from the beach.

The local village hub of Cooked Goose Cafe and General Store is also only a gentle 5 minutes walk and the various walking trails are also easily accessible.

Bowerbird Cottage Apartment invites guests of all ages - from the young to the young-at-heart - to stay, play, rest and relax. Being single-level, and on the ground floor it is easy and convenient to access - especially welcome when bringing in the luggage!

Freshly made beds beckon on arrival - ready should a power-nap be needed before heading to the beach! All bedding and bed linen is included.

Complimentary ground coffee, herbal teas - plus hot chocolate and marshmallows for those needing a treat after visiting the beach or walking the myriad of nature trails - are provided.

While exploring the local area there is a picnic basket with picnicware and a range of bbq tools - select from the numerous sites available to enjoy dining in the great outdoors.

Or simply unwind on the covered veranda - watching the local birdlife, reading from the selection of books, playing board games. Lawn games for all ages are provided to play in the garden or at the beach. Or relax inside with a range of movies to choose from.

So stay and create new memories to cherish - catch up, chill out, contemplate, cosy up and connect with family, friends and loved ones. Bliss....


FEATURES AND FACILITIES

The OPEN PLAN KITCHEN, DINING and LOUNGE opens onto the large, COVERED DECK - that is both RAILED AND GATED - overlooking the garden. A separate, COVERED BBQ AREA with an electric bbq - so easy to operate and clean - again overlooking the garden, is ideal for al fresco dining. Please note that access to the bbq and garden is via several uneven steps.

The GARDEN is mainly lawned - encouraging visits by the local kangaroos which often stop by of an evening. There is also a BIRD TABLE which is topped up daily and brings many colourful visitors. Lawn games are provided - suitable for both children and adults.

The TWO BEDROOMS are large with ample storage. The master bedroom contains a king-size bed, the second bedroom has a single bed and a trundle bed. The second bedroom is suitable for all ages and perfect for younger children - having plenty of floor space, and linking between the bathroom at one end and the master bedroom at the other.

The BATHROOM has a shower, vanity with storage, a toilet, and a FRONT-LOADING WASHING MACHINE. Both QUALITY TOILET PAPER and LAUNDRY DETERGENT are provided.

To ensure your maximum comfort and privacy although we - Nick and Tracy - the hosts and owners - live in the upstairs apartment with our beagle dog (and official greeter!) Fudge - Bowerbird Cottage Apartment is fully self-contained with a separate entrance, outdoor areas, parking space and facilities.
