"Breathe" on Moreton

"Breathe" on Moreton Island, overlooks Tangalooma Resort with great Moreton Bay views. Look down to Tangalooma Resort and watch the ships sail past. PLUS there is a viewing deck on the roof of the home. The viewing deck is absolutely amazing, the fantastic views from the top will be adored by any great photographer.

This holiday home has 5 great sized bedrooms, 4 downstairs and one bedroom on upstairs level, there is a second lounge area downstairs with a tv and couch to sit back and relax.. Upstairs lounge/dining opens out onto the deck for some entertaining, the overall area combined is great size to keep everyone together. The kitchen is a good size for any chef, with a oven, gas stove top and dishwasher.

There is ample parking with a driveway and also extra parking on the street side opposite the home. The garage is not available to park vehicles inside.

Guests who are vaccinated are welcome to use facilities, bar, cafes, restaurants, tours, venues and activities at Tangalooma Island Resort, including swimming pool.

The house
This stylish architect designed beach house (sleeps 10-12) offers sweeping views of Moreton Bay and is ideal for two families. With a northerly aspect, the hilltop house efficiently captures cool breezes and is perched above Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort. Our guests can use all resort facilities during their stay, including cafes, restaurants, pools, shop, resort activities and tours (excluding dolphin feeding). Whale watching, tobogganing, helicopter and quad bike tours are just a few of the popular activities that are available through the resort for our guests.

Living and dining
Concertina glass doors allow our guests to enjoy relaxed indoor-outdoor living between the kitchen, lounge, deck, barbeque .

Kitchen
A well-equipped kitchen includes dishwasher, oven, microwave, and well equipped for 10-12 guests.

Linen is not included in the fees, guests are welcome to bring their own sheets, towels etc, or we can provide hire linen for an additional cost of $30.00 per person.
Pillows, blankets and doonas provided.

Getting to Tangalooma
4WD – It takes 90 minutes on the MICAT car barge departing from the Port of Brisbane ((URL HIDDEN) and lands near the iconic Wrecks. Reaching the house takes another 20 minutes via a sand road.

No 4WD transport- Guests can use the Tangalooma Island Resort transport ferries that leaves the Brisbane River from Holt St, Pinkenba. You must also book a minibus to take you and your luggage from the Tangalooma Jetty to the house ((URL HIDDEN)

Getting to the Resort from the house
You can reach the resort easily from the house on sealed roads with the buggy and security key, or on the 4WD sand road to the Resort car park. The Resort is actually only 150 metres away; however, the direct staircase there down the road from the house is very steep. Otherwise, a gentler 10-minute walk on the sealed road goes to the resort.

POWER SYSTEM:
This home does have a C-Bus electrical system, which is a bit different to use, there is a guide in the house on how to use fans, lights etc.
