Jindalee Beach House is a stylish, spacious and comfortable option for 8 - literally only 100 metres from the main beach at Hyams! It has views of Point Perpendicular and Jervis Bay. The house has contemporary beach interiors, a separate flat, quality furnishings throughout, and a large rear outdoor BBQ entertainment area.
Strictly NO PARTIES at this property – please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken.
** Booking for peak season 2022/23 (16 Dec 2022 to 24 Jan 2023) **
The changeover day for this property for the 2022/23 peak season is Wednesday. When booking between mid-December and Australia Day, please select 7 night blocks that start and end on the changeover day. Otherwise the calendar may indicate that dates are not available. If in doubt, please contact The Holidays Collection and we will be happy to assist. Peak season bookings are often most easily made directly with us.
** Where will I be? **
Jindalee is located at the southern end of Hyams, diagonally across the road from both the Hyams Beach Cafe and the main beach access. The location is therefore perfect!
** Why choose Jindalee? **
This house has modern spacious living areas and a huge water facing verandah. There are good garden areas, plenty of space, and a separate cottage. Air conditioning and cool beach breezes make for pleasant living on a warm day.
** How is the property laid out? **
Jindalee sleeps 8 : in the main house there are three bedrooms (one queen with bath en-suite and walk-in robe, one queen with en-suite and built-ins, and one with two singles). Additionally there is a garden cottage with two single beds and a kitchenette. The main house has air conditioning, but not the cottage.
For previous renters, please also note that the bunk room downtairs is no longer available, so the property sleeps 8, not 12.
**Wi-Fi, Netflix, Pay TV – will I have it?**
This property provides complimentary Wi-Fi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property. Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a back-up plan.
** What about outdoors? **** **
There is an elevated and tiled front deck, a timber rear deck with gas BBQ and good outdoor entertaining area, as well as lovely lawns and gardens. There is also a hot and cold water outdoor shower in the rear garden for when you come back from the beach.
** Staying warm or keeping cool?! **
Jindalee has air-conditioning as well as extra pedestal fans and an electric heater. The garden flat has ceiling fans.
** What about sheets, towels and other supplies? **
Linen and bath towels are supplied at Jindalee. Please remember to bring your favourite beach towels.
** Parking for cars, boats etc.? **
There are two driveways on the property, comfortable enough for four cars. The parking is not under cover.
** Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay? **
Jindalee is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly options.
** What are the minimum stay rules? **
There is a minimum 3 night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season.
** Are there any special Peak season rules? **
There is a minimum seven night block during Peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January.
** Who will I be dealing with during my stay? **
