Wallarah Lodge is located lakeside on one of Australia's largest lakes . The three generous sized bedrooms are well appointed, with TV in main room and TV/DVD player in 3rd bedroom perfect for the kids, or for two couples who wish to have some time alone watching different programs.

The Murrays Beach community is newly established on the edge of the Wallarah Peninsula National Park. Wallarah Lodge, Murrays Beach is the perfect getaway location. For the retired couple looking for a place to stop on their travels or wanting to go away with friends it is quiet and relaxing. It makes a great destination for the outdoors family or two families wanting to have a holiday with a difference as it offers bush, beach, lake, plus a 25 metre Community Pool.

Plenty to do

If you are looking for things to do during your stay at Wallarah Lodge, Murrays Beach you can take your pick from fishing off the Murrays Beach wharf or in the Swansea Channel, sailing or kayaking on Lake Macquarie, bushwalking along the extensive coastal walks and national park trails, golfing at Belmont Golf Course, surfing at patrolled historic Catherine Hill Bay or Caves Beach, or simply relaxing at the lodge and eating out at the many popular local restaurants and cafes, including the Lakehouse Cafe, just a casual walk from the lodge, at Murrays Beach. Jet boating is also available on the lake, within walking distance of the lodge. Newcastle, The Hunter Valley and The Central Coast make for great day trips from Wallarah Lodge too.

Modern well equipped kitchen

We believe our guests should be able to go away with all the conveniences of home so we have provided a modern kitchen with a well stocked pantry complete with oils, spices, tea, coffee and sugar. We supply tea towels, paper towels, cling wrap and foil.

We have all cutlery and crockery that you need to whip up a lovely meal and there is a barbecue on the verandah.

We provide the tools for you to pack a picnic and enjoy a barbecue at any one of 3 barbecue locations around the lake, or by the pool barbecue.

We even leave a 1 ltr milk in the fridge and coffee pods as well as a selection of teas in the cupboard to get you settled in
